![]() The whole racing on TV thing is tricky because horseplayers want it to be about handicapping, while virtually everyone else does not. So when funky camera angles and cool shots that 'others' enjoy are used, horseplayers get all cranky.
The Ky Derby has more female viewers than male viewers, so NBC is working towards that demographic. I say go for it if it has a shot at growing the game. I could care less if it's a pan shot or not in that case. |
