Teams, especially teams that had a chance for bigger and better things, often come out flat. The underdog treats the game like its their chance for respect and notoriety and the next thing you know you have a surprise. Saying that the result of last year's sugar bowl is an indication of Saban getting outsmarted is silly.

uga 2 yrs ago were in the talk for going to the bcs game , they were playing the best football in the sec in early dec , they were ranked ahead of LSU after LSU lost to Arkansas in late nov .... tenn beat them on a 3 way tie-breaker and got to go to the sec game against lsu
lsu beat tenn (ranked down in the top 20), west va lost and usc lost and now the same voters who had uga ahead of lsu the week before now leapfrogged lsu over tenn. mark richt campaigned to no avail....you don't think those kids at UGA felt let down by the polls , computers , etc etc ....lsu beat a tenn team that was good early and bad late , explain to me why the uga kids came out and buried hawaii ???? the polls , computers took it away from them .....bigger and better things .....they got the same conso prize as bama and went to the sugar bowl too
