I think he might be a useful horse yet.

Still pretty green IMO.

Totally agree. The horse has only run 2 races and looked pretty good in his debut at Keeneland on synthetic. He might want more distance and he has not tried dirt yet.

Totally agree, he had a really rough trip. Suprised no one commented about it yet, he made 2,3 moves in race just to get into contention, he hung a bit late, but it could have been expected after the trip.

C'mon what does it matter if people get attached to a horse? It's not like it hurts you or keeps them from following another horse at the same time. If it bothers you so much, try not reading the threads or posting on them. It's not like this is an ambush.

It's nice to follow a horse you like, but when a race track makes videos and writes full page articals (basically on a first time starter) off the shoes of a horse who fatally broke down and broke some hearts isn't racing news to me. Yes it appeals to some who can't let go of Barbaro. What talent have they shown?

It's a nice love story though.
