nice looking horse, cant run, but nice looking all the same.

MisterB 11-30-2009 10:36 AM

Why the rush down the backside? That move cost him the race. Anyway, why all the fuss over this horse who has shown squat. Big deal, he is Babaro's brother, who cares other than trying to make something out of nothing. What's next, sister of Vodka on the Rocks headlines.

Beautiful pictures. Nice looking colt, too. Has some awfully big shoes to fill, good thing he has no idea who his brother is.

Riot 11-30-2009 01:21 PM

C'mon, fans are good for racing. Barbaro's brother, Zenyatta. Barbaro was popular from the get-go as Michael Matz was every horsey schoolgirls crush when he rode jumpers.

Geesh, how jaded can some get? Why the dissing? "Everything sucks", even certain types of fan attention to racing? :zz:

Great pictures, thanks!

I think he might be a useful horse yet.

Still pretty green IMO.

Totally agree. The horse has only run 2 races and looked pretty good in his debut at Keeneland on synthetic. He might want more distance and he has not tried dirt yet.

Totally agree, he had a really rough trip. Suprised no one commented about it yet, he made 2,3 moves in race just to get into contention, he hung a bit late, but it could have been expected after the trip.

Nicanor isn't all bad - what happened to him, anyway?

Parade forecast: 100% chance of someone raining on it.

C'mon what does it matter if people get attached to a horse? It's not like it hurts you or keeps them from following another horse at the same time. If it bothers you so much, try not reading the threads or posting on them. It's not like this is an ambush.

Who is a horse to follow in the game today... Both of Barbaros brothers are very talented.

It's nice to follow a horse you like, but when a race track makes videos and writes full page articals (basically on a first time starter) off the shoes of a horse who fatally broke down and broke some hearts isn't racing news to me. Yes it appeals to some who can't let go of Barbaro. What talent have they shown?

It's a nice love story though.
