I personally think julien is a good jock and better than the average apprentice, but he is being compaired to the greats and those guys were really just kids 16 not 23 he has 7 more years of experiance being around horses and patience has alot to due with how young riders due. I would take McCarron, Desormeax, Cauthen any of those guys when they were 23 over JULIEN anyday.

Lenny Goodman was one of my closest friends. He thought Steve was as good a rider as he ever had. Not a bad compliment from a guy that had Ussery and Braulio.
