D a m n good rider on some d a m n good horses who is young and looks good = world beater! LOL:D See what you've made me do now GR. I'm going to be paying more attention to what he looks like now that his actual riding skills in his races LOL.... |
He loves Churchill Downs, but it will take him more than Leparoux for him to quit hanging.....I'm convinced that this horse will never win against good horses again...he can't beat any horse that wants to fight him in the stretch....Plus, he's not as fast as he once was...
I like him but he would have to cut through the infield to beat the younger and more talented Bernardini in the Breeders' Cup.... |

HA HA! Now that was funny! |
I like your signature Buffy...

What I am always saying... Geniune is now on the Drifty bandwagon! |
At least they won't have to worry about him moving too soon.
And, ladies, forget about Julien...he's got a VERY pretty girlfriend and from what I've seen she's not letting him go. |

He is an EXTREMELY talented rider. I think the switch will benefit PD, but it won't be enough for the BCC. However, it could move PD up in some of the other races. I agree with Joel on this one. Not to knock PD though. Tough old campaigner who usually is a lock for the exotic bets, but you already knew all of this... |
Perfect Drift has had a fine career and he's an admirable horse. However, he's past his prime and simply doesn't belong in a race like the BC Classic.
Leparoux is an outstanding young rider who hopefully learned some valuable lessons at Saratoga. His laissez-faire style got him in more than his share of jackpots as the meet progressed and the big boys were not inclined to make his life easy. He's certainly the best apprentice I have seen in some time and will be very surprised if in time he isn't truly on of the top riders in the country. He, however, needs to learn to be more aggressive and fight for what is rightfully his. He most likely will. |

I'm convinced that this horse will never win against good horses again. so are you saying g2 and g3 horses are not good horses and drift wont win a grade 2 or 3 ever again? your splitting hairs, that comment would be foolish if he had a longer nose or a little more luck in the foster a grade 1 with so called good horses-buzzards bay and brass hat. you would not say that but after the fact you do. don't forget he lost a grade 1 by not even a nose. trust me this horse is capable of pulling one off at any time |

he ran 4rth 2yrs ago 3rd 1 year ago in the bcc beating 2/3 of the field both times. loses a grade 1 by not even a nose in the foster and ran and great race in the wph to run into suave who ran a freakish race that day for 2nd. given the pc was puzzling. BUT MUCH deserving to be in the bcc!!!!!!!! |
