![]() Maybe he'll make the move to Mediocre Downs now.

He and his agent are more concerned with riding horses with real chances to win (as evidenced by the very low odds of all the horses he won on) and having a higher win percentage. He splits time between Laurel and Charles Town and as his one-time personal chauffeur I'll say that it's not a particularly fun drive to make if all you're hoping for is the mount fee. |

![]() Is there an Eclipse for highest winning % for a stunningly mediocre jock?

![]() Go bet a race with Dunkelberger on it at CT. He's virtually always on the favorite, so yeah, he's pretty darn selective with the horses he rides.

![]() It wasn't that long ago that people were posting asking where he was after an injury? Good for him he has figured out how to be relevant in night time east coast racing again. All the good jocks have to start somewhere before riding the big circuits. He's not a kid but he wouldn't be the first jockey to come out of WV/MD/Del to go on to doing better things in New York or So Cal.

![]() Is there really a track going these days that is completely devoid of nags? I think not. Plus, CT gets some pretty salty customers in most of the races Travis is riding. You rarely see him on the 5k/4500 claimers if ever.

![]() I remember Eddie Castro winning 9 races one day at Crc. I guess he had more than 9 mounts?

He did well in NY earlier in his career and then had some problems. . . he has kids and family now in WVA, so I doubt he's going anywhere and I'm not sure he's too ambitious at this point. |

![]() He would get his clock cleaned at Aqueduct. Better off staying there in WV. Big fish in a very small pond as opposed to being a guppy in NY.

where did he originally come from? i wanna say some place in the mid-west. Thought the story on him was he hooked up with an older rider who ventured away from CT ( i wanna say glen reeder, but i know thats wrong), when he came back he brought travis with him, the name slips me though, Dupius, Duppy, Kirkandawl, Cornwall, etc.. He was winning on anything out there at CTwhen he first started, and i didn't take long for the public to make him chalk in pretty much every race after first couple of months. -bt0 |
