Closest would be Pine Island's Alabama I think.

Pine Island's Alabama was only 600K ... same with Traditionally's Oaklawn Park Handicap win.

I would think probably Coronado's Quest win in the Haskell was the last one.

Sorry I meant purse size being closest to a million, but forgot about the Haskell.

Which brings up a good point of everyone's favorite owner...does NY have a million dollar race for fillies and/or mares?
