I used him in my pick 3's. No real opinion on this race. I think I used 5 of them.

Gone Astray trounced them.

DrugS has been on this horse and told me that his next race would be big. Racing against slugs helps as you can see Shug wants no part of the mainstream colt events with him. He is a real Grade 3/2.5 type

For those who thought the rail was bad in the Haskell ... Duke Of Mischief was on the rail every step of the way in the Haskell and was a soundly beaten 4th in the PA Derby ... albeit he was a step slow at the start and 4 wide both turns this time.

That was some performance. Those of us who liked and bet Gone Astray got screwed (pricewise) with the scratch of Soul Warrior who would have vied for favortism. I thought 9/2 was fair but not great on this horse. Had Soul Warrior been in, we were probably looking at 7/1 and my bet would have doubled. Oh well, cant complain about having a winner.

When was the last time Shug won a million dollar race that wasn't on Breeders Cup day?

It was comeback weekend between him and Lukas!
