![]() Steve,
Played your late P4, including all four of your selections in the 8th. I usually include all four of your selections when you single one of the races. $1,641 was quite a surprise. Didn't expect that much of a payoff considering the first three legs didn't produce a winner over 3-1. 11-1 to finish the sequence was nice though. Thank you for a great end to the meet! |

Sciacca as director, delaying the photo, was a true sign of the importance of the race. God Bless And they need you to sit to the left of Andy next year w/ the meet you had 'capin.

Sciacca was actually yelling for Tina, who had joined the photographers line for the award ceremony, instead of standing in with us! It was very special, and I'm exceedingly grateful to Gary, Barry Frey, Tina and NYRA for the gesture towards my mother's memory. As for sitting with Andy... that's a nice compliment. I thought I had enough strong days to more than offset the bad, with a number of individual big price horses that offered the opportunity to key profit. I hope those that regularly used my opinion came away ahead for the meet. But Andy basically sits alone after this summer. His work was consistantly remarkable day after day, and his ability to identify mammouth on-the-spot opportunities during the pre-race prattle was stunning. Pletcher's Interactif from last week was one example ($30+ winner). I heard from several people who specifically 'got out' for the meet on that single Sterling push. The giant price Paulino Ortiz score from opening week is another that comes to mind. I obviously couldn't hear every pre-race insight he provided, but anyone who simply allowed his thoughts to be infused into their play meet-long, benefitted substancially.

Excellent! Glad you thought through the first leg and nabbed Corey's Coming to start it. I had punched a stack of tickets early in the day and only had the late P3 myself, which was quite OK too. Definitely a nice way to end the meet, particularly as the nightcap win went to Mrs. Weber. Was pleased to end the 6 weeks with a very good day, as I had really struggled after Travers Weekend for 6 straight days. Hope everyone did well.
