Looking at the PPs, Munnings hasn't ever been a 'speed on the lead' sort of horse the way Rachel is. In his only mile races (and only one of these was around 2 turns), he sat back a couple of lengths off the lead and it seems unlikely winning a couple of sprints from that same sort of position will change his style. Rachel should have the front end all to herself and we know what she can do in that position.

The idea that fillies/mares shouldn't run with colts/stallions/geldings is laughable. If not for the proliferation of races for females only in this country, we would see the Gallorettes, Affectionatelies, and Personal Ensigns of our time out there bashing males all the time. It is done all over the world, yes, even in Canada (fillies were on the board in the two legs of their triple crown already run this year).
