Vic please get well and come back soon! That fill-in announcer for race 10 was brutal to listen to. Goes to show you that calling races is not that easy. ALso try to get Rosario on Globetrotter

Ed Bogart for races 1 thru 9 and he did a good job but since he had to call races at Los Al a fill-in anouncer called the last race. I think its that guy who does all the Hollywood park promotions on TV. It was an ear-sore to listen to.

I took a listen just out of curiosity. That was painful, he would call out a horse, wait a few seconds before saying anything else...then call another horse, and the process repeated through the whole race. One of the most boring calls I've ever heard.

Ya and the guy seems so peppy when he is on TV promoting events but not so much calling the races. Its all good cause I would have probably stumbled as bad as he did if I had to call it. The job is not that easy.

Hopefully you'll be feeling better shortly Vic, try and delegate some of those things you do for Joel in the early AM for awhile until you hear your Doc's release you saying......."AND HE"S OFF...."
