laugh all you want drugs , that horse was not going to lose as long as he had a patient ride in the back , he could have gone 20 wide on the far turn and won that day , they were all going backwards except for 1 horse MTB - he loved the Peanut Butter surface

if i was chip , i would never even bother with borel again.

if Kent D rides him in the belmont and calvin rides Summer Bird in the belmont - then who wins? Kent D had to eat crow for a long time for his ride on real quiet , he made Calvin look like a 3rd rate jock who had spent too much time on 42nd st all week instead of at Belmont Park
I guess Calvin didn't get the memo that the belmont is 1 1/2, not 1 1/4 - those NY nights last a lot longer than those night in Cajun country, in fact NY nights never end

this I will agree with you on. Not Adam Lambert. Lambert may not have even been able to deal with the pressure of winning a derby or even riding in a derby. Horse would have found trouble and lost.. Calvin was the only guy who would have done what was done IMO... take the horse back like 20 lenghts and make a huge run on the rail.

How did that work out for Borel taking the super horse Warrior's Reward?

Might see him surface next in an Ellis Park NW2X.

Warm up the hot tub, invite one of those Manhattan bunnies you work with, grab tomorrow's DRF and pour a couple sifters of brandy. Light up a splif and put some Radiohead on, turn out the lights and just think about tomorrow''s late pick 4 sequence. After she leaves, throw on a pot of coffee and get to work on Thursday's card.
