gimme a break, this family values charge is such a disingenuous argument. show me the list of democrats who proclaim that they are against family values. when democrats run for office, do they not project themselves as fine ,upstanding, moral people? or do they proudly go on the record as supporting marital infidelity, or at least being indifferent to it? show me the democrats that say that Sanfords actions are no big deal. if you can't then it means that democrats also view marital fidelity as something important, and therefore both parties are in favor of family values, and let's not forget the many democrats who have failed in this regard as well, some in a spectacular fashion.

When guy's like Sanford n' Ensign are forced to admit to this stuff it's particularly hypocritical stuff, because they've really gone after guy's that have done the same. For instance, Sanford was particularly interested in going after Clinton(for the lies,) and then you hear Sanford admit to the lie he gave his aides(Appalachian Trail etc.) I don't think you're gunna find many on the left that think this guy's sex life is a reason for him to have to resign. I don't think many would say he should resign for a lie about his sex life. This is the difference(many Conservatives wanted to have the President thrown out for a lie about his sex life.) Spending Gov't money to go to Buenos Aires? If that happened, then this is a serious problem. Leaving nobody in charge of the state for 5 days? This is a problem. No matter a person's political persuasion.

This bolded is huge.
A Governor of a State just leaves and tells
absolutely no one where he is going?

No.

Its worse. He lies about where he is going.
He is the Governor of a gdamn State, you dont just
leave...

Good God.

This, and this alone, means he should ABSOLUTELY
RESIGN.

My favorite part of the train wreck apology was that he apologized to the other women before he apologized to his wife. What an @ss.

Im sure his wife loved his emails also.

I just dont get how a Governor thinks he can just leave
the country without telling anyone in charge.

Pretty funny to think that this doofus was considered a "rising star" by some cons.

Looking more and more like they're gunna have to put together a shotgun dellinger-Cannon Shell ticket to challenge BO in '12. lol

By the way, Jim, ripped the hypocritical Spitz when he got exposed too ... but had to cut him a little slack after seeing that pic of Ms. Dupre in the white bikini sitting on the boat.

i'd agree democrats should be very careful about making too big an issue of human nature (which is all that sex in all it's wonderful and weird forms is).

but it's a patently lame argument that those who have made "thou shalt not" part of their platform don't have further to fall when they're caught doing what comes naturally.

it's not the act. it the hypocrisy.

Republican men desire melons as much as Democrats.

The Fine Governor from South Carolina referred
to the Argentinian Ladies orbs by email. He liked it
when she held them apparently. I guess when he
was not involved with them, she was. I guess they
were popular with both parties.

Antitrust is salivating.
