Your views of doctors are incredible. Do you really think that only 5% do it for the love of their job? If so, this is as cynical as you've ever been.

Power, money, prestige, exclusivity etc. are the reasons they usually choose that profession. The teaching profession at least has a lot of people in it that went into it because they like to teach.
