Ethier is a weird dude. When he plays like this, he's so good at coming back from a 2 strike count, and waiting for a pitch he can drive. For some reason, he can't stay at this level. He always slumps after these spurts. He has the potential to play like this most of the time. That's why you see Joe pointing his finger at him at the end of the clip. He's trying to get him to stop having those slumps n' spurts.

SCUDS my man! Was a good series... Pitching was good on both sides. I was real impressed with Phillies starting pitching, though Bastardo had a very nice 2nd outing yesterday, and surprised Chan HO Park actually pitched okay!

2 bad bottom of the 9th for the Phils or else we coulda had a sweep but thats why it aint over til the fat lady sings!

IF these two teams meet each other in the NLCS, it will be a great series!

I'm just happy our pitching is coming around (save one guy who played a major part in us winning the World Series last year by going 47-47 in save opportunities.. but he gets a pass because of that... for now)
