Lots of medicine practiced by GP's could be done
easily by others. Some of the stuff they do is not rocket science. But good GP's are absolutely necessary for finding some of the problems. Most prospective medical "kids" want to be brain surgeons or orotho's working on some big name athlete. More good GP's needed, and then the minor problems taken care of by physician assistants. The lawyers are a big problem. A lady hit me about 7 years ago (auto accident, not because I assualted her) Cops wrote up the report, upon which over the next 2 weeks I got at least 6 calls from Lawyer "cold callers" asking about my injuries. I said I was not hurt, just a sore neck.. Big mistake. Then they kept going on, it might be, it might be... Finally I started to claim I had been decapitated in the accident. One office asked how to spell decapitated and said we will get back to you. It would also help if more care went to kids and not old farts like myself that lack a skull. The Pharm. stuff posted above is very interesting. Last edited by pgardn : 05-11-2009 at 08:35 PM. |
