I think you forget what kind of a rider Mike Smith was early to mid 90's in New York. He won basically every major race and rode a lot of champions.

Its not even close in career accomplishments between Solis and Smith when it comes to winning big races, and Mike is younger. I would imagine Mike has won 50 more grade 1 races then Solis, and done it all over the country as well.

But Smith loses all credibility for being on Jockeys and showing the world his relationship with Sutherland. The HOF should kick him out based on that horrible show.

I am not saying it's a bad gig. Going on tv and playing kissy kissy with her twice a week is beyond nauseating though. I mean how many times can we watch Smith and her drinking wine and talking about their relationship.
