if someone strafes my house in the middle of the night and i don't have an anti-aircraft emplacement, should i do the same?

i'm not really sure how i feel about gun control but i love the paranoid fantasy as justification for your opinion. armed gangs roaming your neighborhood?

Actually, I have pressure on me to get a gun. The dogs chased a guy out of the backyard 3 weeks ago. Have they done studies on how many people have killed a family member versus killed an actual intruder? Guns are pretty unforgiving.

statistically, you're far more likely to kill someone you know or yourself with a gun over someone breaking into your house.

but you need to weigh that against whatever level of irrational paranoia you have about armed stranger's bursting through your door.

My wife won't let me get a gun. The best I can hope for is one of those old style credit card swipers. I figure any burglar coming up my steps that hears that noise will sh*t their pants and run.

No, I am not the one who wants to get it. I actually trust my dogs enough. They adore me( I feed them.) I would maybe prefer to get one more larger dog, or a tazer. Black Rage is for real. I'm not crazy about the lethal option being around here.
