this game will not be anywhere near close. Florida is going to destroy the overrated Big 12 winner. I am SO happy that the Big 12 has been very exposed. It is not a great conference at all... bad defenses. Tho I thought Texas D played much better than I thought they would.

look at waht they gave up on the ground , ohio st had red zone problems , if that was florida , they would have scored more td's

and texas has the best d in the big 12

this should make you feel better. there is a "whale" in las vegas calling the game, gators in a blowout, won't even be close.

i do root for the gators since I live 40 min from Gainsville now... but they are not my #1 team or anything. I root for a couple college teams: University of Arizona being my #1 team (my alma mater). I grew up rooting for Penn State (my mothers alma mater & I grew up in PA, you have to be a State Penn fan!!). I also root for West Virginia (my bro goes there currently).

I do want the gators to win... will be a good atmosphere around here.

BUT my excitement with tonights game will be more about exposing the Big 12. If for some reason (I doubt it), the Gators lose... it wont be the end of the world for me... but it may for some of my co-workers and CajunGator.

I say UF wins by 17- 24 points. I predict 38 - 17. Bradford wont know what to do when his WR's are actually being COVERED!!!!

If only we had a playoff:

First round:
1 Oklahoma 16 Georgia Georgia wins 35-21
2. Florida 15 BYU Florida rolls 49-17
3 Texas 14 Georgia Tech Texas wins 56-31
4 Alabama 13 Oklahoma St Tide roll 77-35
5 USC 12 Cincinatti USC wins 56-7
6 Utah 11 TCU Utah wins regular season rematch 13-10
7 Texas Tech 10 Ohio St Ohio St wins 35-31
8 Penn St 9 Boise St Boise St wins 28-24

Second round:
16 Georgia over 9 Boise St 35-28
5 USC over 4 Alabama 31-30
6 Utah over 3 Texas 34-31
2 Florida over 10 Ohio St 49-14

Semis:
5 USC over 16 Georgia 49-35
2 Florida over 6 Utah 35-14

And with USC-Florida tonight we'd be looking at the most anticipated college football championship game of all time.

Man a playoff would have been so nice this year.

I agree about USC & UF for the National Championship... THAT would be a great game... who knows who would win but I would never bet against Tebowchristsuperstar!

Utah also deserves a chance to win the NC... I wish Obama could make an executive order to NCAA football!

i don't think usc could slug thier way through a playoff. NO 6 weeks to prepare and they'd have to string together 3 good or great games.
