Don't know how she would handle a synthetic course but on dirt, it's hard to see any race that was run this year and think that given her running style and ability, she couldn't have won.

She would have been run into the ground in the Met Mile or Woodward. She would have had a hard time in the slop in the JCGC and the Dubai World Cup would have been a disaster.

Perhaps not Dubai. But yeah, I think she could have beaten him in the Foster.

Did I actually say that a thread you were involved in was excellent. Why don't you attempt to class up just a bit?

Sheesh!

I just want to point out for the 27th time that Azeri never lost a two-turn race when she was sent to the early lead.

And she didn't need things her own way either, as evidenced by the 2002 BC Distaff when she went the opening 3/4 in 1:09 and change and ran Imperial Gesture and Jerry Bailey into submission, costing that one 2nd place. Of course, after Azeri spanked Bailey again in the Apple Blossom AND Gor For Wand in 2004, Bailey made sure to get the last laugh at Saratoga when he absolutely destroyed his own mount's chances in the 1 1/4 mile Personal Ensign by sending her to the lead and running the opening 3/4 in 1:09 so that Azeri would not win. Bailey's mount finished butt-naked last, and Azeri got passed late and ran 2nd.

Ok, I'm done. Back to my hole.

Didn't Sightseek beat Azeri in the Ogden Phipps?> Wasn't the jockey aboard Sightseek Jerry Bailey? Wasnt it Pat Day's fault for taking the bait Bailey set on Roar Emotion in the Personal Ensign? Was Roar Emotion a world beater?
