I was talking to a friend of mine who went to ND. He thinks that Meyer will eventually end up in South Bend.

this is the reason weis didn't get canned now. who can they hire? what high profile is floating around for nd to go after? weis was 4th or 5th choice as it was. nd can't afford that again.
meyer has nd connections, he'll eventually end up there or i'll be surprised.

the well is dry at ND, but I can't see Meyer leaving that Gator program...just plain common sense.

Horrible news. As a Mountaineer fan, I can freely suspect that he would have been welcomed with open arms in Morgantown.

he turned down notre dame a few years ago--he chose florida over them.

warm weather programs are king right now, which is why les miles stayed at lsu rather than go to michigan, and why i don't see urban leaving a damn good thing for a place that hasn't done well in years.

put down the crack pipe. no way urban goes up there. notre dame still thinks they're big ticket, and that any coach would be thrilled to go there. meyer has it made, and it's warm and sunny down there.

apparently notre dame is content with mediocrity, why else keep CW another year?
