I wouldnt mind seeing texas and usc but ugh it has to be tough for the longhorn fans to have a team with the exact same record as you, and you beat them head to head - be playing for the NC and you are not even in a BSC game.

Hopefully one of those 3 teams loses next week so there is a playoff.

Using that logic, how would it be fair for Texas to be playing in the championship game and Texas Tech to not be? Tech beat the Longhorns head-to-head.

The Longhorns will be playing in a BCS game though. Just not in the title game. If one of the three (Oklahoma, Texas, Tech) loses next week, there won't be a playoff. The winner will be decided by head-to-head. Texas has to hope for Tech to lose because if Oklahoma loses and the other two win, Texas is still left out of the Big-12 title game.

What if Texas scores 80 against A&m, Ok st beats Ok and FSU beats FL then Fl beats Alabama? Is the NC Texas and USC again? Or Ohio State vs Ball State?

If OSU beat Oklahoma and Florida loses to FSU before beating Alabama, Texas could beat A&M 2-0 and would still be in the title game against USC (assuming USC beats Notre Dame and UCLA).

What about if Oklahoma loses to OSU, FSU beats Florida, Florida beats Alabama, and Missouri beat Texas in the Big-12 championship game?

USC vs. Utah.

But Texas and Oklahoma lost close games while Tech got thrashed. All things being equal Tech has no say in the matter because of the way they lost. The only thing more stupid than the BCS is the grading system in tbred racing.

Texas beat OK coming from behind and then putting the wood them.
Texas Tech beat Texas at home, on the friggn last play of the game,
after a freshman safety dropped a lollipop interception. OK showed how
bad Tech really is.

Texas Tech will get a shed beating if they play a team with depth
on the D-line and Secondary in a bowl game. They can beat anyone in Lubbock. They know that wind ridden stadium perfectly and can pass in it.
Outside of Lubbock... they get trashed by good teams. Happened too many times.

Texas might really get the butt end of all this. But I dont really care
because we have proven that our D cant handle offenses that are put
together well. Much rather play USC or Alabama than Florida.
It is a matchup thing.
