We had some success, but not real success (as in a CHAMPIONSHIP) for a few years earlier on in the decade.
You cant keep a bad performer around forever, no matter what happened 4-7 years ago. This aint like Joe-Pa where you can just stick him up in a booth.. this guy isnt giving us a chance to win football games now.

The alternative ain't much, doll. I'm still scratching my head at that selection, and his performance Sunday didn't give me any reason to think otherwise.
