![]() Correct me if I'm wrong, but Law played for the Jets in 2005 (Edwards' last horrific season). They paid him $$ with little return from a team standpoint, although he had a bunch of INTs that year. They allowed him to walk because he wanted even more money.
Justin Miller missed almost all of last season with a knee injury, and hardly made it onto the field this year. It was his kick-off returns in 2006, and not his play at corner, that will be remembered. |

![]() Generally speaking, it's a now move. Why not, this is probably there best chance to go to (and maybe even deep into) the playoffs as there has been in a while. They have a chance to host a playoff game. Who knows about Farve's future (if he will come back next year). But you have him now and I think he still has the capability to carry a team on his back. He's the leader and has been down the road before. You don't worry about the future when you are 3-6 at this point, now they are 6-3 and trying to make the team better for the now drive. They should be applauded for this. The Jets sometimes make some very strange moves as an organization, but I think they are doing the right thing now. Why not go for it? The big signings have paid off so far and I don't think we have seen the best from Farve. The next two weeks will tell us something, but they are in the position that even if they drop them both that are still in the thick of it. I hate to admit it (as a Jet hater) but their season has a different feel to it then usual. As much as I would love to count them out, you just can't in the wide open AFC (and NFL for that matter).
