Think I saw a 106 Beyer for Big Brown for the Haskell, for what it is worth.

Dutrow on BB vs. Curlin - has the guantlet been thrown down?
"Curlin couldn't win the Derby, we could," Dutrow said. "Curlin couldn't win this race, we could. Curlin got beat [by] a filly. We haven't. Our horse is undefeated on the grass. Curlin isn't. I don't know why people think Curlin is such a good horse. We're way better than Curlin."

Maybe IEAH should insist that their trainers are drug free too. It's probably easy to talk about Curlin since BB will probably be retired and not have to face him.

This kind of stuff is much easier to say when your horse will never face Curlin. I'd be shocked if they ever line up in the same starting gate.

since curlin looks a no go for the classic, i'd say that the chances of the two meeting is nil. oh, and for those who missed it, the arc is a definite NO for curlin-but i'm sure everyone already figured that. |

yeah, i was thinking along similar lines. but i don't see it happening.
as for the travers, and them claiming three weeks is too soon for the horse...well, i think skipping that race is due to the fact that it's a far more contentious field than what he faced on sunday, and he showed he's not the same horse he was in april and may. |
