Yeah, you got me with Balto Star, who did endure a Triple Crown campaign. The others were fillies, turf horses (he did very well with English Channel, I'll admit--despite Dubai even), and I think Speightstown was trained early in his career by Phil Husbands and might have already been 4yo when Pletcher got him. |

True, I agree about Pletcher's older horses. Thats why in previous threads I had mentioned that this horse will probably benefit from a trainer switch like Mandella, Frankel. He is owned by Stronach so he may switch to Frankel or Brian Lynch |
