Harlem Rocker Not In Dywer?
If anyone still cares, HR apparently is going to pass on the Dywer to compete at Fort Erie in the second jewel of the Canadian Triple Crown, The Prince Of Wales Stakes. Fort Erie is a traditional dirt track unlike the poly at Woodbine.

Cool, that ensures the Dwyer is another fine claiming stakes.

Well I used the "apparently" because Frank Stronach make the decisions and nothing is written in stone when it comes to him. But it seems to be where they are going.

Frank's not pleased that Ginger Brew was beat in the Queensplate. Harlem Rocker has done well at a Mile or less, but is thought to be the only hope for breaking the TC at this time. Not sure he's ready for 1 3/16 miles. Hopefully, they'll ship him in early enough to get acclimated, though. At the QP he arrived early Friday morning for a Sunday race, after 10+ hours in a van. |
I see this horse having a quiet 3 yo season then watch out for his 4 yo season cause he is going to be leader of the handicap divison next year

Hasn't Harlem Rocker made too much noise already media-wise (without much to back it up) to have a quiet 3yo season? If Pletcher can't get him out of the barn and winning this summer he's an almost total write-off next year save for a flashy allowance comeback in Florida followed by a odds-on loss in the Westchester or Salvator Mile. |

Aside from the ill-fated, and very inconsistent Left Bank and Lawyer Ron, who we all know was not in his care at 2 or 3 years, what top older horses has Pletcher campaigned? |
