Looks like the Travers is going to be a bore Article in the DRF is stating that Pletcher and Romans are not committing as of yet for the Travers. I think Pletcher will actually skip the Travers with Bluegrass Cat. I dont think he likes the 20 days rest. I could see the Super Derby for him or maybe even try older horses or something. Romans seems to be leaning a little more to the Travers with Brite One. But again, I think he will look elsewhere. Both are afraid of Bernardini. Here is the link to the artcile in the DRF. http://www.drf.com/news/article/77267.html

The only exciting thing about the Travers will be the post race Bernardini bandwagon singing his praises and comparing him to Barbaro, Secretariat, and even Jesus.

I think Tagg should have Showing Up take a crack at Bernardini in the Travers instead of racing him at Arlington. I know he's a better turf horse than dirt, but I still think he's better than Sunriver, SNS, Deputy Glitters (obviously), Steppenwolfer, and all the Cali horses on dirt. Plus, if I were the Jacksons, I'd be reluctant to send him to Arlington- even though all the breakdowns have been on turf. Any ideas of who actually is pointed towards the Travers?
