Your generalizations are just not there. Pennsylvania has a much larger % of NASCAR fans than Texas. It has spread into the lower Northeast. I dont have any clue as to why it is popular but it is. Much more so than horse racing. So looks like we might be the odd people.
Europe has its own racing circuit only they make turns. It is no better. Grand Prix... Indy cars, whatever, I cant handle it. Tell me Scuds, what makes the Grand Prix more fascinating than Nascar. And that beach volleyball in California is God awful. What's the dealo out there? And all that dirt bike racing... what about those fruits Scuds?

My oldest son likes a few rap songs and it drives me nuts. Not because the artists are black, but because the music sucks. It's rude, vulgar, obnoxious, and yes Racist.
