I am just saying I can see how people get to this point. And now that one person (Columbine) has done it, it is a thought in people that get to that point.
Someone just said something on the news that it is really a shame that students now have to be on 'alert' when they go to class. Mr. Simon is correct in that you aren't going to stop these people without having Grade 1 snipers in these classes. I will tell you this, I wish I had a solution because I could retire by 2009 if I did |

whenever something horrible like this shooting today happens, people want to talk about ways to keep it from happening again. much as we all would like to think we have control over our lives...really, you don't. the bizarre can take place at any time. not a good feeling, but very much a reality.
used to be that if someone felt suicidal, they'd take themself out. now, it's take as many others as you can first. i don't know why, just seems to be the case these days. more gun control will only affect the law abiding citizen. criminals are just that, i doubt a gun law being broken would give them pause.
