I think he was more than somewhat more accomplished.
I seriously doubt finishing third in the JCGC did anything for his stud career (although i don't disagree he was best, I bet him in that race). His second in the Travers was very good, but again, that doesn't add all that much to his stallion value (and yes... I bet him in that race too.) That leaves the Blue Grass... while a very important race, hasn't been a stallion producer either.

You gotta remember who we're dealing with in the breeding industry... bloodlines mean just as much as race accomplishments.
