setting the absurd time aside (how about that half in 42 and change?), that is one hell of a nice sprinter!

gonna be hard to beat come bc sprint time, provided he's still alive.

Speed crazy Santa Anita is back. Just scrape half that Polycrap (Cushioncrap?) off. They would probably go 1:00 flat with rubber shoes.

I see it as unlikely that he stays sound that long dude, but I said the exact same thing last year for a newly turned 3yo coming out of the exact same race, and he ran second in the bc sprint a few months ago.

Ok, perhaps the way I said it was a bit strong, but if this one stays sound, I see him as one of the top 3 sprinters around come BC time.

He does seem to like the SA cushion track too, which is where the BC is at. Of course, who knows what the track will be like once they modify it.

I actually forgot they were running at SA, so you make a good point.

Two back, he ran 0.73 seconds faster than the Grade 1 Malibu Stakes for older horses on the same card.

Normally, it would be a tremendous achievement for a 2yo Cal Bred sprinter to run open lengths faster than older Grade 1 males on the same card - however, this years Malibu field was overflowing with vomit.
