I love Mr. Zito, and I pull for him, but frankly it seems like he's afraid of huge success. I love his horses. I just hope that he gets them in the hunt in a big way.

We all have our own pet peeves. He's my good friend, so obviously I defend him, but I'm sure there are trainers I don't like that others do. Doesn't make me right and them wrong. I argue with Byk all the time about trainers he likes that I don't. The truth probably lies somewhere in between.
I don't think Oaklawnfan was being critical. But I also don't know why he believes Zito is afraid of success. Doesn't make sense to me. I would say that most trainers fear the opposite....lack of success. |
