Bizarre stretch run

Thats not the first time I have seen a horse who veer out like that and come back to win or at least come back into contention. However I was impressed by the horses acceleration. That was amazing how he ran faster than he did before he veered out.

yeah, he actually ran that 13.44 last 1/8th. motoring

reminds me of Ms. Norman in the Fantasy at Oaklawn about 2 years ago... every time she got hit with the whip she jumped about 5 paths wide. if I remember correctly, she still rallied to run a solid 2nd.

NUMAANY raced with the pace from the outside, took over turning for home, drew clear then veered out suddenly passing the eighth pole, causing his rider to lose an iron, then was straightened away, came again outside and was clear again at the finish, driving
