Did anyone see this a few weeks back @ Aqueduct?

That was on ATR's Best of 2007 ballot, but I don't know where it finished. The colt has been sent to Dubia now, so it's hard to consider him a legit Derby prospect with the path he'll follow.

Man.. That was one of the bizzarest finishes I have ever seen thats for sure!! thought for sure his race was over when he started to veer out.

That's incredible. I wasn't aware of this particular race. Were the rest of the horses that bad, or is this horse going to be something special?

That's the point exactly. The winner may or may not be OK, though now that he's in Dubai we'll probably never know, but those behind him are absolute crows. The ones that have come back have cemented that position.

I couldn't tell who the jockey was, but it was funny to see him/her tranistion from "Oh ****!" mode to "I think I can still win this thing!" Quite comical!
If I was one of the owners of the other horses in this race, I'd be looking at a Maiden Claimer at Finger Lakes or Philadelphia Park.

Might be the best barrel race horse...unreal. The jockey did a good job not giving up. Who was it?

Thats not the first time I have seen a horse who veer out like that and come back to win or at least come back into contention. However I was impressed by the horses acceleration. That was amazing how he ran faster than he did before he veered out.

A nose better finish by Baystreet Bully and he'd NEVER be a crow for me.

Then again, kind of hard to find that NOSE when a horse is giving its all and the jock is hitting it repeatedly lefty, causing it to lug out.

reminds me of Ms. Norman in the Fantasy at Oaklawn about 2 years ago... every time she got hit with the whip she jumped about 5 paths wide. if I remember correctly, she still rallied to run a solid 2nd.

You forgot to minus the two seconds it took for him to veer out.
