Your " take " is simply not true.

And don't forget his "unannounced" appearance in the pressbox that stole the thunder when Steve Cauthen was there. Our governor really answered those tough questions that the media posed to him. Arrogant as ever! Both him and Bruno share equal blame with this whole fiasco.

Wow....he stole the thunder from Steve Cauthen. Steve Cauthen took money to shill for one of the failed bidders.....no? Phuck him.

How exactly is Spitzer equally to blame in this particular situation? He made the correct franchise decision and did his part to further this process. Bruno simply tried to block it out of both personal animus and to curry favor towards his financial constituancy....while ignoring his supposed actual constituancy. He has attempted to submarine this entire process at every stop, while using questionable ethics, with absolutely no real plan of his own....or no viable plan.

Didn't he fire the first shot versus NYRA with the original investigation to get elected? If he wasn't looking for everything NYRA had done wrong under every rock, maybe it wouldn't have gotten to this point. This crap between Spitzer and Bruno goes beyond the NYRA situation.

Spitzer may have used NYRA but he also may have had some legitimate points. Personally I think it's fair to say that NYRA is a much better organization as a result of Spitzer's investigation. I'm not saying that I think everything was fair, but I don't think it was completely unwarranted, and as a result I believe he helped create a better organization and one that should be running the franchise in the future. Spitzer obviously agrees with this and therefore did his part to ultimately move the process forward. Bruno has done his part to stop that....and not for a wholesome reason.

I agree totally with what you said, but I still don't trust our governor. Why does politics always play into everything in this state

I'm not stating a political opinion on any of these guys. However, in this case I don't believe that Spitzer is the bad guy.
