Aragorn was quite impressive and definitely has some talent as his last 4 races have been very good. Keep this in mind for the Breeders Cup though-Drysdale has mentioned repeatedly that he's not certain Aragorn is as good of horse on a turf course with some give in it (likely the case w/ the Breeders Cup at Churchill in November) I realize he ran a huge race in the Kilroe mile on a "good" turf at Santa Anita back in March, but there is a big difference between good turf on the West Coast, where the turf is real hard- almost like concrete at times, and good turf on the East Coast. Something to think about... |
