avg vet bill?

I know for a fact (i've seen the bills) that alot of the bigger trainers vet bills come in over $1000 a month. I also know some successful trainers that are willing to eat a portion of the bill because they dont want the owner to know everything that they are giving. Part of the problem with vets and modern technology in regards to horses is that in many cases it is just too expensive. There are lots of things that can be used diagonistically that just simply cost too much to use on a regular basis for ordinary horses.
