![]() Normally she would be favourite, but she hasn't won in over a year now, and i think that is putting many people off. Her second last time at Newmarket (when Johnny Murtagh rode the winner) was her best performance for sometime, and a repeat of that would see her probably win, but consistancy isn't really her strong point and as some of us have posted before, she often lets her behaviour get the better of her.
If you take away her run in the Duty Free (where De Kock had expressed his concerned beforehand) she would probab;t be the FAV. I hope she will win, but i cannot be confident.

![]() Am i right in thinking there could be a huge pace duell in this race? Again, this possibly isn't a good thing for Irridescence. Her best form has come when she has been allowed to race close to the pace and often when allowed to dictate from the front.
Citronnade and Jeannie R are likely to go off fast rom the gate, aren't they? With Irridescence likely to chase this strong pace, it might be worth discounting all three of them. I won't be having a bet, but i would probably go with Lady Of Venice, who shouldn't be too bothered by softer ground as she did win on Good to soft in France.
