I believe I remember reading that his two 2yo races in this country recieved tremendously fast Ragozin figures.
I believe they had one of them faster than anything Big Red ran in his 2-year-old Horse of the Year season in '72. |

If Canonero II had run in the US for his debut it'd been through the roof...I can't find his PP data for Venezuela.
For some reason I always liked his story....maybe it's an ugly duckling thing and Cajun always talking crooked this...crooked that.
