Fantasy is always better than reality. Ask Sunday Silence, End Sweep, etc., how they physically fared mounting and breeding 230 mares a year, every year in and out for 10 years. They didn't last long... one died from broken withers falling of a mare(probably exhausted) and the other (SS) they tried to keep alive with a broken leg, laminitis etc.

Let's see how long Deep Impact lasts breeding 230 mares year after year...

I was attempting to make "humor".
And, yes, I've been inside the breeding shed many times.
It's dangerous for the stallion, the mare, and especially for the people that handle the whole "date".
I'd never, EVER want to come back as a "teaser". That poor guy thinks he's going to score, then back to his stall....blue balls and all.
