It's wiretowire.net, but I think all of the FTBOA sites are down right now.

Cajun, If anyone spent one afternoon with Joel at the race track they would be more knowlegdeable about the horse racing industry without a doubt.

Is it true that he can also cure wounds by clanging his hands together and then rubbing them like Mr. Miyagi does in The Karate Kid?
Please, tell us more of his greatness. It is soooooooooo interesting.

Mira, I usually do not chime in, but I have to give credit to Joel for introducing Scat Daddy to the DT members before his debut. Joel actually saw him workout at Churchilll prior to his initial start.

No motivation what so ever, just the fact that he was the one that brought Scat Daddy to everyone before his debut at Belmont. He mentioned before his debut that he would be a BC Juvenile prospect and got blasted for it.

What were the odds on him in that debut?

Swell. What does that have to do with what the odds were?

The entire world around the racetrack knew about Scat Daddy before his debut.

He was 3:5 for God's sake.

There were crappy odds in his maiden because of the four horse field and the Pletcher angle. Add that to the "backstretch chatter" and you get 3/5. Horse showed some resilience coming back to win some grade 1's as a 3 yr old after getting pounced in the Juvy.
