I had weekends like that in my youth.
Good luck trying to get refunded for it. |

what also is mysterious is that a bulk of charges came from paypal, yet I call paypal and they have no record of any charges using my bank account, yet my bank says they come from paypal.

So was it all out of your checking account? The bank should give you an immediate temporary credit and then go through the chargeback/fraud process. The good news is based on what was purchased, I doubt if it was anything other than a hacker going joy riding so to speak. I have had it happen to me as well, but it was caught by my banks firewalls and it actually turned out to be someone within the bank.

heres an update ive been on the phone all morning between bank of america and paypal, ive gotten back half of my money back. They released the pendnig funds back into my account and paypal was ok with it, it also turns out this guy has been nickel and diming my account for over a month to well over 890 dollars without me knowing about it. The customer service people so far have been great vs what I had to deal with this morning, the new batch of people have been very nice, plesant, and accomodating. 90% of the charges have been for online video games, so hopefully we can track the bastard who did this. I am relieved now more than anything, still a few transactions left to clear up and it looks like its gonna turn out ok. Thanks for the responses
