Two things....
D Money. Have you taken a good look at the make-up of this race? There is very little speed which works directly into the hands of the mediocre favorite Precise Alloy. All things being equal only stalker He's a Lumberjack will be in a favorable enough position to possibly defeat the favorite and win the race. How anyone could like a deep closer like D Money considering today's race dynamics is beyond me. Kong's Revenge.....he was scratched AT THE GATE two weeks ago. No thanks. |

I agree that if pace does not materialize, D Money is done for. However, I didn't necessarily see Precise Alloy as lone speed in here. I would think #6 Doctor Freud will be contesting pace on cutback in dist. Also #7 He's a Lumberjack has showed speed in some previous 7F races and I think Belly Rub could get caught up as well. If that Happens, I think D money is legit at a price. That was my rationale. If Precise alloy sets soft uncontested fractions, I agree D Money is not a winner. I have no argument that D Money is one of the three best horses in the race at the very least. However, I do not see the pace you are suggesting materializing.
We shall see. |
