live and learn I guess...trying to do right by a horse is sometmes really hard. Mine got sick with some strange fever a year ago...for 2 weeks we tried to figure out what was wrong with him...antibiotics, bute/banamine, x-rays of his sinus, blood work (twice)...he would get a bit better and then get sick again...it wnet on for almost a month...cost me over $1000 dollars...we never figured out what was wrong, one day he ran a fever of 104 and then that night it broke and he was fine...no problem...they can make you nuts
