Teeth
 

Just had the teeth done on 2 of my horses one 6 year old & 1 yearling which i will say he did a great job wolf teeth pulled on the yearling dip into my wallet to pay him thinkin after this get some horse feed etc $335 bucks mother of god:( ,When did horse dentists start charging like real dentists put the damn wolf teeth back i say, No more Lovely fat black Sunflower seeds for Ruby:( They might be on weetbix for the next few months like me or worse yet i might have to go back to work again:mad:

wow! that seems high (but then I'm not in Australia)...last time I had to have a power float done on my horse (he had a bad wave mouth) it only cost $175 and that included the sedation. A regular float is only 35...I can't remember what they charge for wolf teeth.

I thought so too i usually pay about $80 per horse for a good dentist

live and learn I guess...trying to do right by a horse is sometmes really hard. Mine got sick with some strange fever a year ago...for 2 weeks we tried to figure out what was wrong with him...antibiotics, bute/banamine, x-rays of his sinus, blood work (twice)...he would get a bit better and then get sick again...it wnet on for almost a month...cost me over $1000 dollars...we never figured out what was wrong, one day he ran a fever of 104 and then that night it broke and he was fine...no problem...they can make you nuts:o
