I'll be there for the afternoon. Do have to leave after the race, however.

I'm looking at flights right now. But I'm thinking of flying into Louisville the night before and driving down. That way I might get a chance to check out Churchill Downs (which I've never done) and see Sumwon the day after the race. How about it, Chuck? Okay if I stop by the morning after the race (assuming the race fills and she draws in)?

Great news on the ship, Chuck - thanks for the update!!!!
I may have missed these answers before so forgive me if I'm asking a repeat- can you provide us with a general idea of: 1) Which days are good days to come by the barn? 2) What time is a good time to stop by so we don't get in the way? 3) What barn number are you in at Churchill? 4) Assuming we would need an owners badge to get into the stable area, in lieu of a badge how would we get in? 5) Will an out-of-state owners badge get me access to the stable area? I ask because I will be in Louisville on April 28 and 29. I hope to be able to stop by and see the filly, and to meet you if we haven't met at Keeneland a day before. By good days, I mean which days are the most laid back for you. My trainer in MD would only walk horses on Sunday so it was a good day to go since there wasn't much going on. She was usually finished by 9am so anytime after that was good to go so I didn't get in the way of anything. Thanks!!!! |
