Keeneland tickets...help

Keeneland is trying very hard to accomodate fans for the boxes as many of the owners of the boxes are getting older and use them much less frequently. These people are also Clubhouse members and if the weather is even a little bit cold or nasty they are inside, not in the box. The key is do the owners of the box call to turn the tickets in!! Keeneland promotes this to box owners as a means to get a few dollars back at the end of the race meet for the days they don't attend. I think the box seats are $10 weekdays and $12 weekends....so total depends on the box as KEE has both 6 and 8 person boxes. While this may not be the best answer, you can still give it a try. They will notify you by about 11 race day weather you have a box for that day or not. Hope this helps.

This is an excellent idea on Keeneland's part, though weekends are still difficult in all liklihood. The boxes are empty for a good part of the afternoon, until the feature race, when patrons come pouring out of the clubhouse.
