Was looking for a throw-in or two after the Strong Contender scratch as the race seemed like a mess and spreading wider made sense. Had an experience edge and a race fast enough to win 4 or 5 back. Plus, the return of Rivera intrigued me as the horse had shown interest to stay near the lead under him, and that was a quality that figured to be a plus.

Honestly, it was dumb luck as I left the Zito off the ticket because of the 9 post and beyond issues at the trip, and obviously could have been burned by it with a head bob the other way...

I'm really happy for those of you that scored!!

Steve, that was a great addition on your part, he had run 1 competitive # 4 starts back (the only one of his 13 race career), I didn't look at him long enough to notice the jockey switch. It is interesting/ironic that he had the same trip as Mccann's Mojave (with the same devastating result).

Meet the new boss same as the old boss... Seems Gulfstream has not changed a bit with the inside speed dominating and jocks getting bad trips. Did not watch any races so cannot comment beyond the charts, although I did put some time into the handicapping. Congrats to Invasor who seemed to overcome some adversity while running his record to 10 for 11 with his only loss to a total freak. Interesting how the Dubai journey will unfold, I'm going back to the midwest. Also congrats to the winning pick 4 tickets, although it may be difficult to explain to your grandkids how you had a winning pick 4, with a 100-1 shot and did not get taxed! BBB
